USPS Postage Increase: Starting August 29, 2021

It’s been decided! A few months ago the USPS proposed a postage rate increase and now that increase has passed through the PRC (Postal Regulatory Commission). Here is a look at what the new rates will be effective August 29th, 2021.

New postage rates for your fall mailings:

The First Class Mail classification will increase on average 6.8%
  • Presorted Letters and Postcards will increase 7.4%
  • Presorted Flats will increase 10.3%
Marketing Mail classification will increase on average 6.8%
  • Marketing Letters will increase 6.6%
  • Marketing Flats will increase 8.8%
  • EDDM mail will increase 4.2%
Periodicals classification will increase on average 8.8%
  • Outside County rates will increase 8.8%
  • In-County rates will increase 7.3%
